Taking Flight Record keeping To A New Level
Eliminate piles of paperwork and in a matter of seconds, retrieve important, up-to-date information on your aircraft. You have your flight times and a myriad of other information literally at your fingertips. TimeTrac will change the way you record and manage your flight records.
Automate Your Flight Records
With TimeTrac, you no longer have to jot down flight times. Scribbled notes become a thing of the past. The system automatically records the power-up, takeoff, landing and power-down! Time-in-service and block-to-block times are recorded for you on each and every flight.
A Complete Package
The TimeTrac system consists of (1) a small electronic computer that resides onboard your aircraft and (2) a software program that resides on your personal computer. The hardware receives information from your GPS (or Loran) data output and records it for downloading later. A download port is located in a convenient location whereby someone can easily download the data from the aircraft. The TimeTrac computer is about the size of a deck of playing cards and entire hardware weighs in at a mere 5.5 oz., hardly enough to put a dent in your plane's useful load.
TimeTrac also knows your airport of departure and arrival as it has it's own 8000+ worldwide airport database. What about those locations that aren't officially listed as "airports" No problem. In addition, TimeTrac allows you to create your own Custom Airport List as well. Seaplane pilots and backcountry flyers love this feature.
GPS and LORAN CompatibleTimeTrac communicates with most of today's popular GPS systems…and some older LORAN units too. In addition, TimeTrac also works with many GPS handhelds.
Install, Fly, then Download... at your convenience
It's that simple. Once the TimeTrac computer is installed in your plane (3-5 hrs of shop time), you go fly, then download the data. The TimeTrac software does the rest. You don't have to do a download after each flight either. The TimeTrac computer has the capacity to store over 2700 "events", so there is no rush to download. To transfer the flight data from the aircraft to your PC, simply connect the PC to the aircraft download port, power up the aircraft's electrical system, and follow the simple instructions and the rest is automatic. Depending on the number of new legs to be downloaded, the entire process takes only a minute or two to complete. At that point in time, your records are 100% up to date!
