The E20/20 Step TDR troubleshoots OSP, drop, or twisted pair cables (CAT 2 to Cat 6A) and single wires in bundles or harnesses. It uses step technology to accurately locate and display wire faults and then stores, recalls, and uploads traces to the PC by name, date, and time. It also has MicroFault locating for finding small coax kinks and crushes that might affect service but are difficult to see on a normal TDR trace. Ideal for testing Coax, Twinax, Triax, Telco OSP, or LAN twisted pairs Cat 2 to Cat 6A. Equipped with a user-friendly interface and includes a Setup Wizard, Named Menu Keys, and Context-Sensitive help. Internal cable elist holds 64 cable types, can be user edited, and modified lists can be uploaded or downloaded to a PC using ETDR PC Vision‚Ñ¢ software.
  • Locates faults for opens, shorts, bridged taps, split and re-split pairs, water, chafing damage, coax crimps and splices, shunt faults, splitters, series resistive faults, and any impedance or loop resistance affecting fault
  • Micro Fault Locating: Two modes designed to pin-point small faults that are easy to miss on a full TDR trace, particularly on long coax cables
  • Stores 32 traces and instrument setups and 64 cable types with their impedance and velocity
  • Setup Wizard for step-by-step guided startups and one-button Context Sensitive Help for all menus and functions
  • This E20/20 TDR unit comes equipped with an N type connector and includes N-to-BNC adapter and BNC test leads. Comes in a kit with part number 6021-5154

FAULTCHASER KIT W/TP-200 TONE PROBE & CASE
price: $544.50
part num: FAULT-KIT
FaultChaser & TP-200 Tone Probe: two cable-testing devices in one concise kit

Easily test cables and determine cable length quickly and accurately with the FaultChaser Handheld and the TP200 (TrakAll) Tone Probe. The FaultChaser is a simple device that allows users to find cable length and determine impediments as well as the overall condition of cables up to 3,000 feet long. Using advanced spread spectrum TDR technology (SSTDR), it provides accuracy of 1% or better while remaining immune to voltage, current, or data stream disruptions.

The TP-200 is a handheld, battery powered device that allows users to trace voice, data, and video cables and detect cable faults. It includes an integrated, detachable generator and a tracer with a replaceable probe tip.

FaultChaser
  • Accurately measures the length of live wires within 1% or better; also works on energized cables
  • Capable of testing length and open and short circuits present on any type of wire or cable up to 3,000 ft
  • Produces four different tones for locating cables
  • Provides memory storage for most used cables and holds up to two different NVP values for multiple cable tests
  • Users can easily view data on the large backlit LCD display
  • Can calibrate NVP for any cable
  • Kit contains FaultChaser unit, TP-200 Test Probe, F-connector coupler, F-connector to BNC, cable F to RJ45, cable BNC to alligator, and cable F to alligator, and protective case

TP200 Tone Probe

  • Tracer has adjustable volume control, a non-conductive tip, integrated generator storage, and an automatic power down feature
  • The generator has two tone styles and a 'tone active' LED
